Rarely are their problems with calendar/clubhouse reservations.  Use of the clubhouse is first come first served, and it can be used without reservation, but there is no guarantee that someone else will reserve the slot.  So, if an approved event is NOT on the calendar, the time slot is open to other residents, and they can reserve it.

 

In this case, the unapproved/unrequested “Judy, Aline and Joanne play cards on Wednesdays” was claimed as a preempt for the new use requested by Jody.  I checked the calendar and the time requested by her, Wed 1-3 was open, so I approved it.  Jody’s craft group has that slot.

 

This is a good illustration of why clubhouse reservation goes through a simple process, and those wishing to use it should request, using the simple form on the web site (or at least an email with dates, times, purpose, repetition, sponsor and description.
