I guess the difficulty is that, on any given day that the landscapers are here, we don’t have any way to know that all of them are actually present at that time. I also think it might be awkward for residents to just interrupt them randomly over the next few weeks and hand them each cash.

I got the message that the Social Committee does not want to have this responsibility so will wait and see what other Board members think.

Vale…Charlotte here. I got your message and have been talking with Patty. She doesn’t ever think this was a social committee project and doesn’t know how it even got started. We have been talking and think that if anybody wants to give the grounds people a tip for Christmas that it should be up to them. There’s no need for anybody here to be taking up a collection and having to deal with that. If someone wants to give them a gift let them do so. I know some people have given our mail lady a gift on their own and no one has even considered taking up a collection for that. So my thought is maybe Pete could just send out a message and let the community know if they want to give gifts to our hired people that it’s up to them.
