Hi Linda, I'm out of town until the end of March. The small window on side of the front bedroom leaks air and sound. Doug has caulked it but it's still an issue. I keep the blind closed all the time to minimize the draft. That's the only window issue I have. Thanks. Judy Hultgren, 1214

It’s that time of year where the windows on our homes will be inspected to determine if they should be replaced. These are generally the older wood windows. If either wood rot around frame and/or moisture between the panes appears to be the culprit, these will be replaced.

Doug, from Country Glass, has received notice that there is going to be a price increase within the next 10 days.  We must act quickly in determining which windows will be changed out and Doug get the Order in before the scheduled increase.

Three things need to happen before our Order is placed.   1) a walkaround inspecting each window at every home 2) having access into the home for taking measurements and 3) Doug’s proposal submitted to our Board for approval to go ahead and order replacement windows.

Doug and Ryan will be on site today and tomorrow to begin this process. So if you see these two folks “snooping” around your home, do not be alarmed.

Also, to save time, if a window(s) needs replacing at your home, Doug and/or Ryan will knock on your door and with your permission, allow them to come inside and take measurements. This has normally been a two step process but with our short timeframe, Doug’s hoping to do both at the same time. If you are not home, I, or Doug, will call you to set up a time for him to return for measuring.
